Stehli Howell Design was invited by Cygnette LLC to design a renovation and addition for this much-loved property in New Orleans' Lower Garden District. With the help of talented builder, Dragan Segvic, the original house was restored to its 1850's splendor and a two-story Great Room and Master Suite was added. SHD also designed a screened porch, rooftop terrace and pool-house detailed with replicas of the columns, brackets and balustrade original to the house. This ample outdoor space, along with the formal rose garden allows the NOLA spring, fall and winter to be fully enjoyed. In summertime, the 14' ceilings and 9' French doors wrapping the Great Room create an escape from the heat.
This bar was designed completely around a piece of white onyx found by the owner. The back-lighting accentuates its the natural beauty.
